How to Play

The goal is to merge two clues to make a word in the style of the example below.

Example:  The opposite to Leave, and who had a hit in 2019 with the song ‘Cruel Summer’?
Answer: STAYLOR SWIFT  (Stay – Taylor Swift)

Round 1 – Countries

1 – The Country with Budapest as its capital, and the ex-footballer who is the face of Walkers Crisps?

2 – The Country with the oldest flag in the world, and the Co-founder and CEO of Facebook?

3 – The Country that the Al-Thani family has ruled since 1825, and the Sauce often served with fish in the UK?

4 – The skirt-lifting dance popular in French Cabaret, and the Country with Ottawa as its capital?

5 – The country with the white flag with the red dot, and the Emperor of France from 1804 until 1814?

6 – The country that’s home to the world’s largest castle, and the British car brand of four-wheel drive vehicles introduced in 1948?

4 – A strong, regular beat or pulsation, and the two-time Oscar winning actor who had his seventh child aged 79?

5 – Another word for Yearly, and the actor that played Tony Montana in the film Scarface?

6 – The actress who played Jane Foster in Marvel’s Thor Films, and someone a Karen might demand to speak with?
